Technical control construction buildings and VRD

AFCO aims to warn the contracting authority of technical hazards that may occur in a construction project and that may lead to claims.

The technical control mission is carried out according to several areas such as solidity, the safety of people with respect to the risks of panic and fire, operation of equipment, energy saving, etc.

The types of construction concerned by the mission are: buildings, villas, hangars, etc.

The trades concerned by the technical control are: the structure, the frame, the roof, the facades, the coatings, the electricity, the plumbing, the air conditioning, the safety of people, VRD, etc.

Work of art

AFCO through the experience of its staff develops proven expertise in the field of the control of engineering structures. Works of art: bridges and viaducts, retaining walls, reservoirs, water towers, dams, etc. 

The solidity mission makes it possible to check the design and construction of the structures to avoid any type of hazard during the construction operation.

Technical diagnostics for all trades (TCE) and real estate estimates

AFCO specializes in assessing the state of conservation of technical works and installations in order to define their compliance with regulations.

Our company is made up of a team of engineers specializing in structure and secondary trades, making it possible to diagnose the causes of disorders or malfunctions, and able to offer realistic and lasting solutions. 

Inspection

The main professional responsibilities of a building or industrial inspector consist in the inspection of visible and accessible structures.

Property valuation

AFCO has a database through the projects already followed, giving it a know-how in the evaluation of real estate and movable property.

Technical installations

AFCO carries out inspections and technical and normative verifications with the aim of monitoring, regulatory compliance and reliability of equipment, materials, industrial installations, building open to the public

Civil engineering works (shell and finishing works)

It will be for the inspector to ensure proper compliance with the regulatory provisions and to carry out the inventory in order to provide an objective technical opinion.

Assistance to the work of mastery

The assistant to the project owner ensures the coordination between the different members of the design team and ensures the good progress of the studies:

  • project progress
  • building permit
  • company consultation file
  • assistance in the analysis of offers and establishment of an analysis report
  • opening and follow-up of the project
  • follow-up of collection files
  • provisional and final technical acceptances, and drawing up of an end-of-mission works report.

 

As the project progresses, the assistant to the project owner checks that the elements of the project program have been fully taken into account.

Consulting and auditing in quality, safety and environment management systems

In this context, afco's experts provide step-by-step support for certification and other consulting assignments.

They help you design a simple, effective and operational system to obtain the chosen certification. 

 

To do this, afco provides companies with IRCA-certified auditors who also conduct certification audits. 

Companies thus benefit from a perfect knowledge of the requirements of the standards on which they wish to be certified. 

Support takes between 6 and 12 months depending on the size of the company.

Periodic and regulatory checks

The business manager is required, in this context, to seek in good time any deterioration of the installations, equipment or working environments likely to present a risk and to eliminate as quickly as possible any defect likely to affect the safety and health of workers.

The purpose of periodic checks and inspections is to ensure that equipment and installations are maintained in compliance and to intervene in the event of a defect.

Periodic regulatory checks concern the following facilities:

  • Technical installations
  • Fire safety installations (emergency, detection, control, alarm and fire protection means, etc.) 
  • Air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems.
  • Sanitary plumbing installations (booster station, distribution network and taps, evacuation network)
  • Elevators and lifting devices (elevators, hoists, lifting tables, platforms, traveling cranes, trolleys) 
  • Pressure devices 
  • Electrical installations by infrared thermography.

Interventions in the oil sector

Training

It relates to  a wide panel  including:

  • QHSE training
